You’ve finally done it. You completed the Pantry Bundle or doled out some heavy cash to repair that shack idling on your farm. Great, you think to yourself, now what?
Now’s time to get planting! Grab your tools and get ready to harvest the top 5 plants for your Stardew Valley greenhouse.
5) Coffee Beans
Normally, coffee only grows in the spring and summer. You need 5 coffee beans and a Keg to brew yourself a delicious cup o’ joe. They sell for 15-30g.

- Requires an extra item (Keg) to make edible
- Difficult to acquire: 1% drop rate from dust sprites and 25% chance of appearing on the Traveling Cart
4) Melon
Melons only grow in one season—summer—so being able to grow them in your greenhouse year-round will help you reap its benefits. It sells for 250-500g.

- Can be bought easily at Pierre’s or Joja Mart

- Yields a fruit every 7 days after maturation
The Not So Good:
- Can easily end up selling at a loss if you bought high and produced lower quality fruit

You should also consider using the greenhouse to grow crops for villager gifts or to have on hand for repeating Bulletin Board quests. This will allow you to build relationships with villagers faster or earn some extra cash.
Truly, the best crops are the ones that spark joy for you and your gameplay style.
